Privacy Policy

What is this Privacy Policy used for?

We are Nordica Media a trading division of Nordica Group Ltd company number 15297327 and whose registered address is Commerical House, 52 Perrymount Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH16 3DT (‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’). We take the privacy of our customers very seriously. We ask that you read this Privacy Policy (the ‘Policy’) carefully as it contains important information about how we will use your personal data.

This Policy was last updated in early May 2018 in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’, the ‘Regulation’) that is due to take effect from 25th May 2018. The Regulation sets out more rights for individuals and greater transparency in how personal data is processed by Data Controllers and Data Processors, such as consent, distribution, marketing and deletion. The Policy sets out the different areas where user privacy is concerned and outlines the obligations and requirements of the users, the website and website owners. Furthermore, the way this website processes, stores and protects user data and information will also be detailed within this policy.

For the purposes of the Regulation, we are the ‘Data Processor’ (i.e. the entity that acts on behalf of another entity) which usually is a ‘Data Controller’ (or another Data Processor (making us a Sub-Processor)) to specifically prescribe to us through a contract or legally binding agreement or, a Data Processor agreement, how we use and process your personal data.

As we provide web design, development and hosting services to our customers, we may need to host and process personal data which is held in our systems and databases. As part of our obligations and in compliance with data protection, we ensure that we process customer data on behalf of our customers and that our Customer meets the requirements under the Regulation, specifically under Article 28 of the GDPR.
